An ongoing situation with lockdowns being placed on factories throughout China. These situations are constantly changing, but this particular video looks to be a group of people leaving a Foxconn or Apple factory in Zhengzhou or Xinyang. They most likely did not have access to transportation and are walking to their homes. This story is developing and the video was probably taken between October 20th and November 2nd. Below is a summary of the situation from a user on Reddit.

Henan government imposed a lockdown on most parts of the cities Zhengzhou/Xinyang but exempted Foxconn factories as they provide nearly 1 million jobs in this region and currently they have to finish new gen iPhone orders. Foxconn promised bonuses and stipends to workers to stay but executed quite poorly and the CCP, as expected, started escorting workers to some abandoned condos near the factory to quarantine. This caused fear (indeed, they’re fearmongered by CCP media’s description of Covid as a “deadly disease”) among the hundreds of thousands of workers and some of them decided to go back to their homes by all means. Most of them don’t have motorbikes or cars so they are forced to walk on the highways. Nearby villagers brought food and water for help, but many were quarantined for leaving villages without “legitimate excuses”. Currently, Foxconn has managed to get some coaches to send workers back home, but we’ll wait to see what happens next. (source MirrorReflection0880)
